Maybe baroque purists don't like Villazon interpretation, and probably they right. But, it's sounds so unique and modern I fall in love again with Handel operas. No doubt, there's a wonderful energy surrounding this performance. I love it!

I suspect that Higdon would have liked it better if Hillary had not put her concerto next the Tchaikovsky....tough act to follow. That is like putting me as a closing act following Aimi Kobayashi playing Chopin's 2nd piano concerto.

This is a great transcription CD but I feel sad that the preludes are left out and they only play 4-part fugues, other 2-part, 3-part fugues are left out too! How I wish they would play all the 48 preludes and fugues in WTC!

I love his interpretations !!!! I love listening how he plays. I've never thought that I can like classical music, and he changed my mind - I love classical music but only played by him. It seems to be the same melody but it's different,it's better, it'sperfect!!! He's charming soul and his music is beautiful, I don't want to listen anybody else!!!!
